About

I'm a musician (among other things) living in the United Kingdom, more specifically Cambridgeshire. I make music with influence from drum and bass and ambient music (among other things). This is my website you are looking at. I like the phrase "among other things" a lot.

I don't intend to stop doing things tomorrow, so things will forever change in this corner of the internet. As such, this website is an eternal work in progress. I'm aware it's not perfect, but I still personally prefer to have my music available here. I wrote this myself, I retain total control of everything here. This is my corner of the internet, and I think it's rather cozy.

At the moment, I'm not on any major streaming platforms. In the interest of making my music as available as possible, and retaining absolute control of it, you can get it right here from my website. That's what it's here for, mostly. All copyright to this music is retained by me. If you want to use any of this in a YouTube video or something though, contact me at olive.looker (at) ollie5694.uk. Soundcloud stuff (MP3 only)

olivecore (25th of June 2023) - First EP under my current alias. Still holds up okay in my books. Includes the title track olivecore, i probably deserve it, and it doesn't get better, you just get used to it. I was not in a good state mentally while making this, as you can probably tell.
words best unsaid (23rd of October 2023) - Second EP under my current alias. Includes such songs as ursamplecore, a, imsostuckinmyownfuckinghead, and cymatics melody flippp (as of writing still my most popular song) (I think).

Miscellaneous releases

demos and oddities june 2024 (15th of June 2024 (?)) - Compilation of demos and oddities put together in the month of June 2024. The title speaks for itself, really. Includes a text file of notes and musings on each song. This release was originally only released to my friendgroup, but with the power of dark magic (cloud storage) it is here now too.
live set for college (23rd of October 2024) (new!) - Setlist for a live show I performed as part of my sixth form coursework. Footage of that show is not available here, but the songs are.

I also have a Soundcloud account, but as of writing I am not updating it anymore. This may be subject to change at some point, but I just do not enjoy using Soundcloud as a platform. You can find it here. I also made music under ollie5694 for a while, which you can find here, although that page is even more out of date.

Other stuff I do

Aside from music, I do other stuff too. Most of that is sitting around doing nothing or playing videogames, but some of it is noteworthy.

Programming: I currently host most of my git repos on Codeberg. You can find my profile here. I've had accounts on a bunch of other git hosting services previously too, but I haven't logged into most of them for eons and the code hosted on said accounts is old and terrible. Enter at your own risk.
Playing videogames: You can find my Steam account here. I don't really know why you'd want to look at my Steam account, but it's there. Enjoy. I will not add you.
